When a person will get a job?

In Vedic Astrology, the most important signification regarding Job is the tenth house and its lord.

  • Whenever the person runs the Dasha- Antradasha of tenth lord or planets placed in the tenth house he will get a Job.
  • In Dasamsha (D-10 Career Chart) the ascendant lord or planets placed in the ascendant will give the person his first Job. The timing will depend upon the Dasha- Antradasha of the planet.
  • Apart from the ascendant, the Kendra house (4,7,10) lord or planets placed in these houses in Dasamsha will give promotion and rise in career.
  • The 5,9 house lords or planets placed in it in Dasamsha can give change in Job.

KP Astrology:

Using KP Astrology we can predict the timing of getting Job by considering the below factors

The Significators of 2,6,10,11 cusps will make a person secure a job. Timing depends upon the Dasha- Antradasha- Pratyantardasha of the combined significator.

  • Second house/Cusp - Monetary savings or wealth.
  • Sixth house/Cusp - Job or Service.
  • Tenth house/Cusp - Career.
  • Eleventh house- Gains and desires.

Note: For accurate prediction using KP Astrology ruling planets are taken into account and KP Ayanamsha should be used.

Jaimini Astrology:

Through Jaimini Astrology Job timing can be predicted using the below factors

The Atmakaraka (Highest Degree Planet) and Amatyakaraka (Second Highest Degree Planet) are to be given utmost importance when it comes to Job.

The timing of Job can be predicted by using Charadasha. The Charadasha- Chara Antradasha of signs where the Atmakaraka/Amatyakaraka/Tenth lord is placed will give a Job.

Predicting job in today’s world is not easy. It requires a good command over horary and also mundane astrology, though mundane is not very important but it is there. Pandemic came and many astrological predictions got failed especially of foreign travels and jobs etc. Many would have got prediction to get a job or promotion or increase in salary in lockdown period but many of them even lost their jobs. It is rare but, one should be aware of economic situations of world while predicting job.

I am not discussing mundane astrology because it has only 10–15 % role.

Coming to horary astrology, Artha trine is important to predict the timing of job etc. It is the 2nd house of money, 6th house of daily routine or service, 10th house of actions, primary house of social status and karmas.

In Astrology, 3 things are very important for any prediction. They are house/bhava, house lord, karaka/significator of house.

In this case, 10th house, lord and Saturn is the karaka. In Jaimini system, Amk or Amatyakaraka is the main planet along with AK. Secondary role of 6th and 2nd are there with any trine lord or house.

Dasha shows the timing of events, so dasha planets and signs should be connected to these houses and planets.

These parameters should be applied to Moon, D-1, D-9 and D-10 charts. Make a comprehensive reading and predict. D-9 and D-10 are important because they gives deeper insights of any event and also confirms the promises of D-1. D-10 is special here only used in professional matters.

Let’s understand with few examples:

Case-1

He got his 1st job in Aug-1981. Vimshottari dasha was of Mer-Jup-Venus. Now see the magic of vedic astrology.

In D-1, Mercury is 6th lord in 8th house with 10th lord and aspecting the 2nd house, thus Mercury is connected to all 2, 6 and 10. Jupiter is 12th lord in 10th house, and aspecting the 2nd and 6th house. Venus is 10th lord with 6th lord and aspecting 2nd house.

In D-9, Mercury is 4th lord in 4th house with 2nd lord, aspecting 10th house and aspected by 6th lord. Jupiter is 10th lord in 7th house, 10th from the 10th. It is not in bad house from 2nd lord Moon and 6th lord Mars. Venus is with Mercury.

In D-10, antar & pratyantar dasha is more important. Jupiter is in 10th house and Venus is in 11th house, with 7th lord and in 2nd from 10th house.

Note: In D-10 10th house is the house of profession and 7th is 10th from the 10th house, thus it is very important. Lagna shows all karma not profession.

Let’s see with Jaimini angle, Chara dasha was of Libra-Cancer-Aries. Libra is 10th house and aspected by Venus-Mercury. Jupiter is Pk and Venus is Amk and in 11th house. Cancer is 7th house, 10th from it has aspect of Venus (Amk), Saturn (AK) Now, PD will be seen in D-10 only, Aries is 2nd house, this was his 1st job, 2nd house is the initiator of any that varga chart. From Aries, 10th house has Venus (Amk). 2nd and 6th lord are there in 10th.

Case-2

He got his 1st job in June-2018, dasha was of Sun-Jup-Sat.

In D-1, Sun is 4th lord in 9th house with Mars-Venus, Venus is 6th lord and Mars is 7th lord though sign lord of Sun is in 10th house. Jupiter is in 6th house and making relation with 2, 6 and 10 houses/lords. Saturn is 10th lord in 10th house with 2nd lord.

In D-10, Saturn is in 7th house and with Jupiter, the 6th lord.

In Jaimini Aq-Sag-Can, Aq is 10th house with 10th jaimini pada and 10th from it has aspect of Amk(Venus) and Pk(Mars) and Bk(Sun). Sagittarius has many planets in 2nd house, giving argala to it. Argala is by Amk and Pk and 11th house from it has Ak. 10th lord from Sagittarius is in Aq which has 10p.

In D-10, Cancer is 10th house. 10th from Cancer has influence of Sat-Jup, placed and Sun, Moon, Mercury and Mars are aspecting it.

Note: There are different rules to analyse Jaimini dasha. Pada is widely used in Jaimini astrology along with Argala.

So, in this way we can predict. I have given almost every major points to see timing.

I

Its very easy just follow instructions given below :-

  1. Look for the strength of 10th house and lord,6th house and lord,7th house and lord and see if any raj yoga or special yoga happening.
  2. If a person is going through dasha and antardasha of 1st,2nd,4th,6th,7th and 10 th lord then he/she may get a job.
  3. Dasha of planets sitting in 10th house,7th house,4th house and 2nd/1st house.
  4. Jupiter transiting through natal 10th lord or saturn transiting over 10th lord .
  5. Jupiter and saturn aspecting 10th or 6th house can give a job.
  6. jupiter and saturn transiting over 10th,7th,4th and 1st house.

Edit:- If a planet in tauras ,virgo ,capricorn happens to be benific or with benefic aspects it can give one strat of career.

And planet in 2,6,10,11 can also star career or can give money source.

Remedy - Jupiter Saturn combusion in Capricorn

 Combustion Remedies

Currently by transit Saturn and Jupiter are Combust by the Sun.

Here are some remedies/guidelines that can help us get through this transit.

1. Chant the Savitur Gayatri Mantra ( Tat savitur varenyam; Bhargo devasya dheemahi; Dhiyo yonah prachodayaat) this mantra has the power to invoke the healing energy of the Sun.

2. Worship Bhaga Aditya connected with the sign Capricorn where the combustion is happening. The mantra to honor Bhaga Aditya is Aum Ghrini Bhaga Aditya (I learned this mantra from Pandit Sanjay Rath)

3. Worship Lord Shiva who can protect us from combustion. You can do so by chanting any of your favorite Shiva mantras. The simplest yet most powerful mantra - Aum Namah Shivaya can be very helpful during this time. You can also listen to Sri Rudram.

4. Be detailed oriented and work harder during this transit as that is one of the traits of Bhaga Aditya. You should avoid egoistic decisions and being stingy.

5. Donation is one of the best remedies in Vedic Astrology. You can donate how much ever you can to any of your favorite causes or temples or spiritual organisations.

Capricorn stellium

Capricorn dominates the sky mirror since late November when Jupiter conjoined Saturn there. Saturn is here from late January 2020 to late January 2023. Jupiter is in Capricorn from March 29-June 30, 2020, November 20, 2020 to April 5, 2021, and again from September 14 to November 20, 2021.

Some other planets have slowly joined to form a Capricorn pile-up (stellium) including the Sun (January 14 to February 12); the Moon for a few days each month, Mercury (January 4 to March 11 during which time it is retrograde); Venus (January 27 to February 20); ; and Pluto (February 25 to June 29, 2020, December 30, 2020 to March 5, 2039, and August 23, 2039 to January 16, 2040).

You can see this Capricorn stellium is going to intensify as we move toward the New Moon on February 11. Then it will gradually ease up as the Sun and Moon will enter Aquarius shortly thereafter, then Venus will enter Aquarius February 20, etc. Some relief will come when Jupiter enters Aquarius in early April (more on that in a future post), and when the other planets come into Pisces in the spring too.

Stelliums (three or more planets in one sign) create a lot of intensity and challenges. In essence, the energies of the planets entwine and fuse a new entity, and often make it difficult for the individual planets to reflect their true essence. The indications of the planets in a stellium interlace and create some diffuse qualities that are often difficult to clarify, reflecting a lot of confusion, cognitive dissonance, conflict, and the inability to see beyond one's own narrow viewpoint.

The primary signature with all the planets in Cardinal Capricorn (and with Mars in Cardinal Aries now) is Cardinal Earth, which is the essence of Capricorn. This is based on a significant excess in the Cardinal modality (which is Rajasic/passionate, restless, irritated, worried and chaotic), and also with an emphasis on the Earth signs (Capricorn stellium, Rahu in Taurus for another year, and Moon in Virgo today and tomorrow). Earth energy when in excess can feel very "stuck," heavily laden with fear, and out of synch with creativity and imagination.

Capricorn, as it is ruled by Lord Shani (Saturn), when out of balance as in this case, represents excess Vata. The energy here can be selfish, anxious, worried, cold-hearted, irritated, restless, and spaced out. It represents strong potential for a lot of negative thought. Additionally, there is a general weakness of the Water element energy now as portrayed by the planets in signs (Ketu is the only graha in a Water sign/Scorpio, but this placement further depletes the Water element).

To strengthen the Water element and help calm all this intense Capricorn energy, we need to activate the vagus nerve. I teach my clients how to do this, especially when their personal astro-charts reveal a tendency for weakness in this element, which is connected to the vagus nerve (and the parasympathetic nervous system). It's a vast topic and also a trendy one, so you can do research if you are unaware of it.

One quick and easy way to hack the vagus nerve and awaken the parasympathetic relaxation response is to do slow deep diaphragmatic breathing several times a day. (Check out this excellent article if you need more info:

Venus in Sravana Nakshtra

Happy Friday, Venus Day! Venus is transiting in conjunction with Pluto, Saturn, Jupiter, Sun and Mercury now, a big stellium/ conjunction . Venus also moved into Shravana (or Sravana) nakshatra last evening where it will transit until February 17.

In Vedic astrology, we are taught that Venus is inauspicious in this nakshatra. This idea is rooted in an allegorical Puranic myth about Lord Vishnu, the deity who rules Shravana nakshatra, and Shukracharya, who is the same as Venus according to Vedic astrology. Shukracharya (or Shukra) is a great sage and the guru of the asura clan of Daityas (asuras are the ones who oversee the affairs of the material realm).

In the legend, a very powerful demon king (an asura) named Bali had conquered the three lokas, and the devatas/gods of light were no match for him, so they asked for help from Lord Vishnu to ask him to overcome Bali so that they could regain their power and influence.

So Lord Vishnu agreed to help, and disguised himself as Vamana, a tiny Brahmin boy. Vamana approached King Bali while he was performing a yajna, and he asked King Bali for three steps of land. Bali was charmed by the tiny boy, and so he agreed to gift him the land.

Shukracharya (Venus), who was attending the yajna, immediately saw through Lord Vishnu's trick, and he tried to discourage King Bali, but the king would not listen. Therefore, Shukracharya (Venus), shrunk himself and jumped into the spout of the pitcher of water which was being used as a ritualized offering to confirm the agreement between King Bali and Vamana.

Lord Vishnu (Vamana) understood what was happening and attempted to intervene by pushing a blade of grass (durva) into the spout to clear out the blockage made by Shukracharya. In the process of clearing the spout, he accidentally poked out the left eye of Shukracharya. This is why Shukracharya (Venus) is usually shown to have only one eye.

After the water was poured and the deal was thus concluded, Lord Vishnu (Vamana) instantly grew in size and became so gigantic that his three footsteps filled the whole universe. He then claimed his three steps of land from Lord Bali, who was enraged but had no recourse against the clever Lord Vishnu who had tricked him and saved the world in the process.

The mythology here reflects various themes that we may see playing out in the lives of those whose horoscopes have Venus in Shravana. These themes can also be activated for anyone during the transit of Venus in Shravana, which happens for just about two weeks annually (as we are in now). Some of the themes and lessons I have noticed revolve around:

1. The eternal battle between the dark and light/asuras and devas. Often the asuras are winning, and then the deva comes to save the day, but they have to resort to lies and trickery to win back what was lost. This is analogous to the battles in life that we all have to wage in order to integrate our shadow and find inner harmony and self-love, including the sacrifices we have to make in the process, and the confusion we must go through. One of the lessons is that we sometimes must become small (humble our ego) in order to gain what we want.

2. The theme of being dual-minded or vacillating in love (or partners can be), as Venus represents love and relationship.

3. The theme of power struggles in love.

4. The theme of being blinded by love (or too impulsive in love matters, and not listening to advice from others in matters of the heart).

5. Themes of entrapment, betrayal, or disappointment in love relationships.

Shravana's shakti is related to the power of connection, hearing, and inner listening, so the remedy for Venus in this nakshatra is to go deeper within oneself, to truly listen to and connect with the highest wisdom, love, and truth of the Self, in order to create a state of inner peace, harmony, and unconditional self-love that will in turn reverberate these same qualities into the world and into one's own life.
