Shloka 48 Raj Yoga chapter in BPHS - Last Shaloka

Benefics in Kendra:

BPHS - Chapter 7

  •  simplified way of reading (if the 10th lord is placed in his own house or in exaltation, aspect the ascendant is a raj yoga)

47. Even, if one among Jupiter, Venus and Mercury is in exaltation, while a benefic is in a Kendr, the native will become a king, or be equal to him. (note this does not require exalted one in Kendra)
  • simplified way of reading (any of the natural benefic -JP, VE, ME exalted while another natural benefic is in lagna. Note this does not require exalted one in lagna

11. One will be related to royal circles, if Venus is the Karakāńś, or in the 5th there from, or in Lagna, or in Arudh Lagna, receiving a Aspect from, or conjunct with Jupiter, or Moon
  •  simplified way of reading - Venus in Uday Lagna, associated or aspected by Jupiter or Moon

Phaladeepika - Chpter 7 vs 20

20. Four Yogas are described in this Verse which are as follows —

 (a) If Venus is aspected by Jupiter a person born in a royal family becomes a King.
(b) If Jupiter occupies a sign other than Capricorn identical with Lagna, the native becomes a King with many elephants under his charge. (that is Jupiter in Lagna but not in Capricorn)
(c) A King will be born if in a nativity the lord of the Lagna vested with full strength occupies a Kendra. (that is faultless strong lagna lord in Kendra)
 (d) If at birth Mercury with full strength is posited in Kendra and is aspected by Jupiter, the native becomes so influential that the Kings act according to his advice. (That is faultless strong Mercury in Kendra aspected by Jupiter) - Shudh Bhuddhi

BPHS Chapter 7

9-10. Should there be benefics in the 2nd, the 4th and the 5th, counted either from Lagnas Lord, or from Atma Karak Rāśi, one will become a king. Similarly malefics in the 3rd and 6th from Lagnas Lord, or from Atma Karak Rāśi will make one a king.

17. If Lagna, 2nd and 4th House are occupied by benefics, while a malefic is in 3rd House, one will become a king, or equal to a king.

Phal Deepika  - Chapter 7 Vs 24

Yogas Organized around the Moon

Phal Depika - Chapter 7 vs 7

When at birth the Moon is brilliant with white luster and is aspected by planet disposed in his own sign or his sign of exaltation, even the person whose legitimacy is questionable, will become a king.
that is full moon aspected by a swa or exalted grah

Phal Deepika - chapter 7

22. There are again two Raja Yogas in this verse as described below: — (1) Should the Moon with full rays be in Pisces aspected by a friendly planet, the native will become a king with pre-eminent position and delighting the world. (2) Should the Moon be full and be in his sign of exaltation the native will become a very generous, charitable and praiseworthy King.

11. If the Moon brilliant with disc resembling nectar and lotus stalk in color (i.e. the full Moon) occupies a Navamsa owned by the Sun and benefics unassociated with malefics occupy kendra, the person born will become a king owning many elephants

BPHS Chapter 7

44. If one, or two, or three Planets are in exaltation, one of a royal scion will become a king, while another will be equal to a king, or be wealthy.

45. If four, or five Planets occupy their exaltation Rāśis, or Moolatrikona Rāśis, even a person of base birth will become king.

Phal Deepika -

3. Even a single planet, even if he be in debilitation, is capable of making a person equal to a king, if not being posited in Dusthana (6th. 8th or 12th) or combust and be possessed of brilliant rays and be in retrograte motion. If three or more planets be so disposed, the native becomes a king. If there are many planets posited in auspicious houses and Navamsas. the native will become a king endowed with the inslgnias of royalty such as crown, umbrella and waving chowries. Check in multiple amsas.

4. The native belonging to royal family becomes victorious every where if at his birth two or more planets are endowed with Digbala.

Parivartna Yoga

1) Maha Yogas: These are excellent combinations to have in a chart. In this type of yoga, both the houses involved are auspicious houses. Both the planets in this yoga will complement each other and enhance the significations of the house.
Maha Yoga forms when the lords of 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, 7th, 9th, 10th and 11th houses mutually exchange with each other. The houses involved are trikona or trine (1st, 5th and 9th) houses, Kendra houses (1st, 4th, 7th and 10th houses) and two auspicious houses related to wealth (2nd and 11th houses). There can be total of 28 combinations possible in Maha yoga.
Maha yoga produces fantastic results to the native. If the planets involved are natural benefics, then the result will be more powerful and helps in complete accomplishment of the goals for the native. If malefic planets are involved with this yoga, then also good results are produced but not to the extent of benefic planets.
The person with Maha yoga will achieve wealth and prosperity, is very fortunate, will achieve his goals, all the significations of the respective house will be fulfilled.
2) Dainya Yogas: These are not a good combinations to have in a chart. Dainya yoga results in the involvement of dusthana houses (or evil houses). Dusthana houses in vedic astrology are 6th, 8th and 12th houses. When lords of dusthana houses exchange their houses with 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th houses and also with other dusthana lords, then Dainya yoga is formed. These lords may spoil the house significations.
There can be 30 different combinations possible in Dainya yogas. The results can be attributed based on the position and strength of the planets. Again we can differentiate two types of Dainya yoga. One, when dusthana (Trika) house lords are exchanging with non-dusthana houses and other, dusthana house lords exchanging with other dusthana lords The later will be termed as Vipareeta Raja yoga. The results of the Vipareeta raja yoga are somewhat different. Vipareeta rajayoga produces good results with initial struggle or the native will gain at the expense of others.

The person both with Dainya yoga will face lot of struggles in life, they will have wicked nature, they lack intelligence, enemies will harm them or others will use them for their own interest, will have unsteady mind which leads to trouble, will indulge in sinful activities.
3) Khala Yogas: Khala yoga can be placed between Maha yoga and Dainya yoga as regards to the results. Khala yoga is formed with the involvement of third house. Third house is termed as mild malefic house. It is not as bad as dusthana houses 6th, 8th and 12th houses. So when exchange takes place between 3rd house lord and other houses lords except dusthana house lords, Khala yoga is produced. Therefore 3rd house exchanges with 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, 7th, 9th, 10th or 11th lords. There can be 8 different combinations possible in Khala yogas. .
The person with Khala yoga will be fickle minded, there can be lot of fluctuations in any ventures, he will have to struggle a lot. This yoga is not completely negative. The yoga produces both good and bad results. As the 3rd house denotes hard work and self effort, if the native works hard towards goal, he tends to get rewarded. If there is an aspect of benefic planet, it will produce excellent results.
Nakshatra Parivartana
This is another kind of Parivartana in Vedic astrology. When a planet is placed in certain nakshatra (or star or constellation), the planet will get influenced by the nakshatra and the lord. When two planets exchange their lordship of the nakshatras, Nakshatra parivartan occurs. For example, Sun is placed in Gemini sign in Punarvasu Nakshatra. Jupiter is the lord for Punarvasu nakshatra. Whereas Jupiter is sitting in Virgo (Kanya) in Uttara Phalguni nakshatra whose lord is Sun. Here there is no connection between Sun and Jupiter in other ways. Both the planets will have positive impact on the native. It is said that Nakshatras represents our subconscious mind and will reveal our fruits of past karma as well.
The effects will be more visible on subconscious level. Since dasa is calculated based on nakshatra position of the Moon, the effects will be more visible during dasa and antardasa periods of respective planets. The result will depend on the characteristics of the Nakshatra as well.
