Indu Lagna

This is a special ascendant, which is derived through calculating cumulative position of ninth house from Ascendant/Lagna and the Moon.

How to calculate and find out the Indu Lagna or Dhana Lagna (Wealth Ascendant):
First, we have to know about some values assigned to the planets, which are to be used in this calculation and are mentioned below:

**The planets Rahu and Ketu are not used in this calculation.

• • After this, find out the zodiac sign (rashi) falling in the ninth house of the Lagna Chart; and write down the value of the lord of ninth house.

• •  Find out the zodiac sign (rashi) falling in the ninth house of the Moon Chart; and write down the value of ninth house lord in Moon Chart.

• • Add both these values; and then, divide it by 12 and note down the remainder, which will be between 0 to 11.

• Count the number from the position of the Moon; and the house identified will be the Chandra Indu Lagna (CIL)
• Count the number from the position of the Sun and the house identified will be the Uday Indu Lagna (UIL)

Analysis:

1) Does the 9th lord from Chandra Lagna (CL) configure with CIL or its lord?

2) Does the Dasha of that 9th lord from CL run

• while said lord in major yogas FROM CL and/or
• when the Yogi and duplicate yogi is involved

3) Is the lord of the CIL well placed from CL while

• that lord is involved in major yogas
• Yogi/Dup Yogi are involved

4) The person runs the dasha of a grah located in, aspecting or is the lord of CIL

• The more powerful the grah, the greater the prosperity
• NB (natural benefic) give more than NM (Natural malefic)

5) When the lords of CIL and UIL associate or aspect, this is a major combination of prosperity

Repeat the whole analysis from UL

      1)   Does the 9th lord from Uday Lagna (UL) configure with UIL or its lord?

2) Does the Dasha of that 9th lord from UL run

• while said lord in major yogas FROM UL and/or
• when the Yogi and duplicate yogi is involved

3) Is the lord of the UIL well placed from UL while

• that lord is involved in major yogas
• Yogi/Dup Yogi are involved

4) The person runs the dasha of a grah located in, aspecting or is the lord of UIL

• The more powerful the grah, the greater the prosperity
• NB (natural benefic) give more than NM (Natural malefic)
