Yogas of Jyotish are NOT to be blindly seen in rasi chart always, but in a divisional chart that shows the area of life to which a yoga is most relevant. Let us take Saraswati yoga as an example. It shows good learning and is formed if Mercury, Jupiter and Venus are strong in exaltation/own/friendly signs and occupy quadrants, trines or 2nd house (together or separately).
One of my Indian origin friends in US has more than 10 masters, PhD, DLitt and DSc degrees and even recently passed the prestigious bar exam in US and pursuing a PhD in law. He is from a small village in AP and has been accumulating degrees throughout his 53-year life so far. BTW, he has working knowledge of Jyotish too!
He was also a successful IT industry executive (2 of his many PhD's were actually in computer science and in management) and an author. He even served as a higher education commissioner of a US state (an appointment by state Governor).

Unfortunately, I do not have permission to share his birth data. But his rasi chart does NOT have Saraswati yoga, while his D-24 chart (education and learning!) has it.
His D-24 has Sg lagna with Jupiter in it, exalted Venus in 4th and Mercury in own sign in 7th!!! That forms a very powerful Saraswati yoga!
No wonder he is such a gifted learner.

Just like him, I too actually have Saraswati yoga in D-24, but not in rasi chart.
My D-24 has Cn rising, exalted Venus in 9th, Jupiter in an adhimitra rasi in 10th (Aries) and Mercury in 5th in Scorpio (with a rasi parivartana with Mars and hence equivalent to own house placement).
While I do not have so many degrees like my friend, I was state first in college, a topper at IIT Madras and had 3 BA degrees in Sanskrit and Hindi by the age of 12 (Sanskrita Bhasha Kovida, Sanskrita Bhasha Visharada and Rashtrabhasha Praveena).
I also have a decent knowledge of a variety of subjects and can learn fast in general (though interest in all learning has been dropping over the last decade).

This is the bottomline.
Saraswati yoga is to be seen in D-24 chart and NOT in rasi chart. After all, rasi chart shows physical existence and D-24 chart shows academic/learning environment. For seeing one's learning and yogas related to it, D-24 is the chart.
Similarly, you can apply yogas in various divisional charts for better correlations.
Suppose someone has a strong D-10 (career) with 10th lord in 10th and yet 10th lord is in 8th with 3 other planets in rasi chart (physical existence). He may have an excellent profession (which is an abstract notion much like how divisional charts are defined!), but he may be working hard and straining himself (8th house) physically (rasi chart) always. An example of this is legendary film actor Sri Amitabh Bachchan!
