MLG - Muhurta Lagnesha

To get Lagan Balam free from Blemish, the muhurta (ML) lagna should not be 6*, 8 or 12 from the Principle Lagna (PL).

*6 can be utilized under some circumstances

To utilize a ML that is 6 away from the PL, utilization ability must show up big time.

(It is still a band aid)

PL and/or PLG must be very strong
or

ML AND MLG must be strong (without first tier weekness)

or

Principle's JP associates with or aspect the ML (qualify the JP)

To Utilize a ML that is 3 away from the PL, the 3rd bhava of the Principle's Lagna must be carefully scrutinized for strength and auspeciousness

For Lagna Balam, ML 2 or 11 away is lukewarm and also needs to be qualified by the strength of those two bhava

It should come as no surprise that to get Lagna Shuddhi we should have a ML in a kendra or Trikona from PL

For example:

PL - Sagitarious
ML - Taurus

here ML is 6 away from PL and therefore not good

Lagna Chandra Tara Balam

Same Principles we need from Chandra Tara Balam except we are counting from PL to MM rather than from PM to MM.

Count from PL start to MM star 

For example 

PL star is Mula

MM star is Rohini

You get 4, which is good

PL star is Anuradha

MM star is Rohini

You get 6, which is good
