Total Lunar Eclipse - May 15 and 16 2022

A total lunar eclipse will occur May 15 and 16 around the time when the full Moon culminates at the end of the purnima tithi and the beginning of the pratipada tithi. Here is the time for NJ location (pasted below)

This eclipse will occur in the portion of the sky called  Vishakha  meaning forked path or a cross road. This portion of the space is ruled by Vedic deities "Indra" and "Agni".

Moon (representing our mind) is highly debiliateted and it is conjoined with Ketu.

This is a sensitive time of Deep emotions. Be careful with your loved ones. Please restrain yourself and do not take it out your frustrations on your loved ones.

Many times unresolved triggers, intense situations and emotional issues rear their heads during this time, yelling loudly in our minds to try and hook our attention. If we are swept up in a trigger or a heightened emotional response, we often don’t make grounded decisions.

Eclipse time is not about pointing fingers, it’s about going within and navigating through your own virtual reality to connect to the truth rather than the distortion.

Yogies recommend that we mediate, chant, recite mantras and do other kinds of contemplative and creative practices during an eclipse. This is because the subtle power generated during the time are personal or collective spiritual empowerment

Mercury will transit the sign of its debilitation on the 24th of March and will remain in Pisces for almost 2 weeks. Mercury here is considered to be lost and unable to manifest a good result and it’s feeling weak, due to the fact that there is no cancellation of debilitation aligning right now. Mercury is in a critical placement.

Mercury is a planet of intelligence, logic, practicality, and analytical analysis. If we refer back to mythology, we know that Mercury and Jupiter are enemies. Mercury doesn’t feel good and comfortable in the water sign ruled by Jupiter. Pisces is all about connecting to other realms and dimensions, away from the practicality and logical approach of the 3rd material world. In other words, Mercury feels lost when it’s required to use intuition instead of the mind.

However, Mercury doesn’t do really bad either in Pisces, you can observe people who have such placement, they usually have a broader vision and wide view, in a sense, they can feel and see things perhaps others cannot see or think about it. Mercury in Pisces person will start to combine intuition and logic, to create profound analytical thinking. In other words, Mercury in Pisces always manifests unique ideas and thoughts. Mercury is ruling the last nakshatra of Pisces “Revati”, it indicates that in the end, there is no such thing called logic or practicality we applied in life; everything is merged to become “The Oneness”.

Mercury is naturally transiting the 12th house of Pisces and will be combusted starting from the 29th of March, till the end of a transit. Such placement usually indicates an issue and problems related to communication, business, and media in general, in a sense, you might feel that there is a lack of focus or perhaps people think illogical during this period, we might summarise the points as below...

Ketu

Ketu Let’s understand

Hi, we always see the negative side of Ketu but today let’s talk about its positive sides. Ketu planet associated with Lord Ganesha. Lord Ganesha is a lord of prosperity and obstacle remover and blessed by Lord Shiva that’s why before starting a good job it advises people should remember or chant the lord Ganesha mantra. Therefore, Ketu means abundance in life. Ketu will give you prosperity. If well placed and everyone should try to appease planet Ketu.

Ketu In chart.

Ketu is believed to bring prosperity to the devotee's family, removes the negativity. He grants good health, wealth and name fame in a foreign land to his devotees.

Ketu in the chart represents isolation, enlightenment, spirituality, occult, silence, psychic intuition, discomfort and mysticism. Ketu is the rest of the body without the head because he loves being alone and away from all the worldly things; on the contrary, it is just the opposite of Rahu.

As people with a negative Ketu look for shortcuts in life, one needs to remember to forget about taking any shortcuts.

Negative Ketu does not let one have good friends easily.

Ketu represents Son, Grandson, Ear, Spine etc.

The 6th house is considered to be its permanent house. In Jupiter house is considered good.

It is auspicious in the 5th, 9th or 12th house.

Ketu is the tail of the serpent.

Its colours are black and white.

Its stone is Cats eye.

Venus and Rahu are their friends.

Moon and Mars are their enemies.

The main house of wealth in the chart is the second house and 5th, 7th, 8th, 11th..houses.Here Ketu can play a major role in prosperity. Need to study the chart and appease Ketu for money.

Remedies to make Ketu positive:

1) Worship lord Ganesha and chant Ganesha mantra 108 regularly.

2) Chant Ketu mantra 108 times (Om Shram Shrim Shrom Sa Ketvaye Namha.)

3) Donate3 bananas in the temple for 43 days without a gap.

4) Wear Ketu yantra in the silver chain on the neck.

5) Donate Flag in the temple on Thursday.

6) Wear cat’s eye stone in silver on Thursday.

7)  Apply Kesar (saffron) on the forehead.

8  Go to the temple for 43 days without gap barefooted.

9) People should take care of dogs.

10) Wear a Silver bracelet in the wrist.

11)  Gold band in ring finger in the left hand.

12) Wear gold in ear.

This all are general views there are so many points which may be missing sorry for that. All are welcome to share yours views . With limitations of words can’t explain everything. Chart reading always mandatory for predictions.

Mars in scorpio

Hello all, here we are after yesterday's Scorpio eclipse, and now Mighty Mars, the ruler of Scorpio, is making some moves! Mars, also known as Angaraka, Mangala, or Kuja in Vedic astrology, represents our fire energy manifesting in action, power, character, and unconditional self-worth.

Transiting Mars moved into his own constellation of Scorpio, i.e., Vrishchika rashi, at approximately 7:28 PM EST last evening. Mars had been transiting in sidereal Libra since October 21, a situation which tends to dampen the healthiest expression of fire. In its lower expression, Mars in Venus’ sign of Libra can be competitive, self-centered, too forceful, self-righteous, lacking in self-control, ineffective in negotiations, and clumsy in communication.

Mars will transit through Scorpio constellation from December 4, 2021, to January 16, 2022, which means that for some of us, especially those of us who are ruled by Mars (having an Aries or Scorpio ascendant, Sun, or Moon, or currently being in a Mars dasha), our fire energy is able to come “back online” now in a more vibrant way. Certain stalled internal energies will start to open up, and problems can be resolved more quickly and successfully than has been the case in the past month and a half.

The warrior Mars is in his own domain in Scorpio, i.e., it is the sign he rules according to traditional and Vedic astrology. Here he generally and oftentimes reveals a healthier expression of our strong warrior energy, which is dynamic, enjoys resolving opposition, and demonstrates enough strength so that there is no need for force.

Mars in Scorpio embodies penetrating physical and psychological energy, as in the capacity to explore deeply into hidden realms, and this is accentuated as Mars moves along with Ketu during this month; both are at home here in the sign of deep wisdom and feeling, extreme exertion, and powerful tenacity. Scorpio is the “feminine” sign of Mars, which can also represent great healing power and the urge for transformation and spiritual surrender.

I see novice astrologers saying that Mars is “aggressive” in its own signs as this makes him “too strong.” But it is quite the opposite in many cases, and particularly if you consider that Mars symbolizes our inner warrior archetype which prefers to be in his full power, as a warrior cannot thrive and be effective in the signs of his weakness.

Mars is traveling faster than normal now which is called Atichara in Vedic astrology, when a planet enters a new sign in accelerated motion, which does indicate some potential for difficulties in the world in the weeks ahead, which I have discussed many times in the past several months related to the fact that transiting Mars will cross over and conjoin yesterday’s solar eclipse points in Scorpio (Ketu, the Sun, Moon, the fixed star Antares, and Mercury).

Using effective orbs of influence, these triggers are in place all of December into the beginning of January, but the exact conjunctions of Mars to these eclipse points are as follows: Mars will conjoin Ketu December 15; Antares December 27-29; and the Sun and Moon December 31; and Mercury on January 4. These conjunctions can be triggers for violent behavior, disasters, accidents, reversals, drama, deception, and also for some truth to be revealed, etc. Sage Varahamahira also states in Brihat Samhita that when Mars is Atichara, there can be “fear of destructive fires.” I feel this is meant to be literal but is also figurative. So, it is recommended to be especially mindful and focused on our spiritual practices more than ever as we proceed through the month of December into the New Year ahead.

Mars is in Vishakha nakshatra from November 15 to December 10. This area spans from 20 degrees of Libra to 3 degrees 20 minutes of Scorpio, and though it is known for its fixity in purpose and herculean accomplishments, Vishakha can be somewhat fixated, aggressive, dictatorial, and impatient. After it leaves this nakshatra, Mars will enter Anuradha nakshatra, the "star of success," where it will transit until December 28. This asterism is usually good for health and vitality and harmonious relations. After Anuradha, Mars will complete its Scorpio transit in the passionate and charitable Jyestha nakshatra, the sign of the divine warrior and dragon slayer Lord Indra who is known for his courage and power to rise up in the battle for truth.

O’ Mighty Mars, with loving reverence I bow before you!

You glow with fiery red passion,

And you are the epitome of courage and dynamism.

You actively benefit all beings,

Homage to you, Lord Mangala!

Love and light,

Juliana

2022 Solar Eclipse in Scorpio

Now is a great time to transform the hidden stress, buried trauma and imagined fears into something more sustaining and invigorating. Scorpio is that sign where we must reckon with the fact that we have no control over anything or anyone. This makes us feel vulnerable, and then lash out to protect ourselves.

We need to be careful to not create imagined enemies out of our imagined fears. This is the dark and negative side of Scorpio, where we can self sabotage our own happiness.

This powerful eclipse has a debilitated moon, where the emotions are restless. However, Ketu, the South node is very strong and bringing great insight into this damaging psychological and emotional habit.

Shortly after the eclipse, Mars, the ruler of Scorpio moves into this sign. Thus, the days leading up to the eclipse may feel pretty stressful but immediately after there should be a lot of discipline and self control at our disposal.

But we need to be careful not to lash out at others. Be very aware of the tendency for breakups and blowups and emotional attacks on others, especially those who you think are disrespecting you, etc.

Libra falls in the 12th house from Scorpio, representing the most unintegrated part of this sign. Meaning, far too often Scorpio unconsciously projects the notion that they are being dis respected, then as a response they wind up being disrespectful and agressive.

Total Solar Eclipse (4 December) occuring in Jyeshta Nakshatra, in the very heart of sidereal Scorpio, will be energetically most intense and transformative astrological event of the year. Scorpio is a sign representing all those dark corners within our subconscious mind hiding rejected particles of ourselves which we are often afraid to face - and yet, it is in those "dark places" that we often find the greatest wisdom, potential and liberation.

It will be a powerful time for inner transformation and healing. But as Mars will enter Scorpio just a day after the eclipse, joining two other fiery grahas (Sun and Ketu), we all may also feel a bit more tensed, stressed and nervous than usual. Impulsiveness and sudden outbursts of emotions may occur, as this intense conjuction will be putting a lot of pressure on our nervous system. It is a good idea to increase our daily dose of meditation and yoga in this time period, as well as find our own ways to pacify our nervous system in this time period, so we can truly embrace the transformation that Total Solar Eclipse will bring with itself, rather than fight with it.
