SUN IN VIRGO: SEPTEMBER 17 – OCTOBER 17

Virgo is one my favorite constellations but it is riddled with challenges if you have Sun, Moon or Rising sign here.  It is a more material and business orientated planet that strives for spirituality. The sign is challenged by its quest to seek perfection in everything and being disappointed when it cannot be realized.  Virgo’s purpose is to work with their material life to perfection and not be dissatisfied with it. If they stop thinking of the future and start accepting their life the way it is and enjoying it, much of the dissatisfaction will go away. They are at war with their own imperfections and the imperfections of others but they need to dive deep and find the humor to lighten their worries. They tend to be humble and wanting to be anonymous rather than be in the light like Leo and often the first constellation of Virgo, connected to the Sun who owns the 12th house creates strong desire for fame and being seen but at the same time wanting to hide in the cave and not be seen.

Saturn will stir up Virgo’s perfectionism this year.  The Sun has an afflicted transit in Virgo this year with the 10th house square from Saturn, which is exact into Oct 7th  and will have a strong influence  Oct 4-10th  impacting health and problems with government, fathers and authority figures. The problem with this transit is that one cannot consider their own needs enough and may be taken advantage by superiors. There are disappointments with married life and some depression and one can become victimized by doing too much volunteer work.

Sun moves into the constellation of Uttara Phalguni on Tuesday, September 17th-Sept. 27th which is one of the constellations of the zodiac commonly known as the social worker that helps friends in need and has great skills in healing and counseling. On a spiritual level, this transit will inspire compassion from the caring side of Virgo and in a sense, it is a time to reach out into the community and help the homeless and the poor and those who have been left behind. It is a time to do spiritual service work to accumulate merit to move on through your spiritual growth. It could create a turning point for you if you have been stuck in the more material aspect of artistic illusion in order to move more deeply into the Divine. Connection to Durga and the creative impulse of Mother Divine can help move through the Maya of the material world and toward moving beyond the illusion into the true nature of the Divine.

So, enjoy  Virgo and move into your creative realms and start great projects to benefit mankind. Bring out the kind and compassionate energy of Virgo, the Divine Mother who deeply cares for her children.  Suns’ transit here will bring out more dynamic energy to lead by example and foster compassion in a crazy world.

Sani Maharaj visible in the night sky

On my evening walks for the past few days I am seeing Sani Maharaj twinkling in the sky. Sani Maharaj is the slowest moving planet  and also our karam phal data (giver of the fruits of our action).

Sani has been in retrograde (vakri) motion for the past 6 month and also have been very close to Ketu (the south node of the moon), and this had created havoc in many people's life, especially for those who have a significant placement in Sagitarious and Gemini access. Lots of people have been suffering with health issues, financial issues, relationship issues and on and on.

 Saturn slowed down to a crawl like a steamship and turn around in the vast ocean and now it is  direct, and currently stationary and is stationary at 19degree 47 minutes in Sagitarious until September 22nd but still very close to Ketu(19 degree 30 in Sagitarious). 

Direct Sani is better than the Retrograde and as Sani Maharaj slowly moves away from Ketu, people will feel relief from this intensity by Mid October.

I looked at Sani Maharaj and prayed to him to be kind on all the people. Forgive them for their past bad karmas and help them move forward in their life.

Saturn Direct Effect for all the Ascendants and Moon signs ( Part 1 )

1. Aries - Saturn is getting direct in your 9th house, whatever complexities that you were facing in your job will be resolved, if your gains were stuck you would get the chance to recover. When Jupiter will join Saturn from November, you will feel lucky and will be spiritually inclined. Your self efforts would be awarded. Just follow the path of dharma and don't divert from it. However, it will depend upon how much efforts you have put in Saturn Retrograde period, accordingly you will get the results.

So, we can say that as Saturn will be moving away from ketu you will get relief from health issues, family issues must be resolved but don't do any investment otherwise you can face loss. If you are interested in occult so this period will help you a lot. Saturn wants us to walk on the right path so you should do that. In career matters also you can get relief.

3. Gemini - Saturn is in your 7th house and is directly aspecting your ascendant so past few months were very troublesome as Saturn and Ketu were closly conjunct and that's why your main concern is your health now, so you have to be very careful about your health. During this period you will also get solution for your relationship problems. Luck will favor you. You will also get favor in career.

4.  Cancer - Saturn is getting direct in your 6th house. Saturn here may have definitely given relationship and health issues so you will feel relief. As Saturn is lord of 8th house and in 6th house it can help you to gain sudden wealth. If you were stuck in disputes of any kind so you can feel much relief during this time but as Saturn will move to Capricorn in 2020 it can trigger either marriage or new relationship in your life.

5. Leo - Saturn will be direct in your 5th house, Saturn is not very good for leo that's why it wants to teach you responsibility. In 5th house now Saturn will judge your past karma and accordingly you will get chance to gain wealth, you can start new business this time, be careful with health of children. Saturn will help students to study sincerely and gain results. New relationship can also start.  Good period if you are planning a child.

6. Virgo - Saturn will get direct in 4th house. If you were struggling for getting a job then this period can bring new opportunities. If you were stuck in property disputes or any other disputes regarding family so this is good time for sorting this matter out. Be careful with your diet as you might affect your health.
