May 7th to June 22nd 2019 - Astrology weather forecast

We are going through a difficult transit of 2019. This has begun on May 7th and will continue until June 22nd. The peak would be on June 12th.

You may notice an impulsive and erratic behavior within you and also people around you. There may be accidents, conflicts, sudden outburst of anger and other types of unexpected events. You may notice various "verbal accidents".

This may be a good time to lower your ego few notches below and try not to provoke someone into becoming angry or causing problems.

Astrology explanation
One of the more challenging transits of the year began on May 7th when Mars entered Gemini where it joins Rahu. In Gemini, Rahu and Mars are transiting opposite Saturn and Ketu, which is in Sagittarius. The entire transit will last until June 22nd and will be at its peak on June 12th which is when Mars and Rahu form an exact conjunction. On the same day, Saturn and Ketu will also be in an exact conjunction. Together, the two sets of malefic conjunctions will form an exact super-opposition of each other.

One of the problems with this aspect is that Mars and Rahu tend to promote impulsive and erratic behavior. This combination can sometimes produce accidents, sudden outbursts of anger, and other types of unexpected events.

Impact on US

It is worth noting that on exactly May 7th, Donald Trump announced that he was sending a new wave of aircraft carriers to the Middle East to confront Iran. Since Trump's announcement came at the exact beginning of the transit, it makes it likely that this military build up could intensify in some way, as we get closer to the peak date of the conjunction on June 12th.

Since Trump has is Mercury in Gemini, he will be affected by the conjunction in a pronounced way. Since he is not known for holding back his verbal impulses, it is quite likely that we will experience a stronger dose of aggressive tweets, texts, and impulsive announcements on a variety of topics including the situation in Iran, the trade war with China (which Trump also escalated a day or two after May 7th) and the conflict between Trump and Congress. But while it is one thing to have an impulsive, erratic, and unpredictable president in office who is fighting with congress over his tax records, or fighting with China over international trade issues, it is quite another to have a personality like Trump's at the helm of a military standoff that involves aircraft carriers and Patriot missiles.
Only time will tell how these various conflicts may play out in the next month.
